Bio 1. Short Version

Pip merges a background in outdoor education with many aspects of community peace making. Recently a mediator in Oregon and NSW Juvenile Justice Systems, he gives workshops in Australia and USA in peace making skills and violence prevention.

Always seeking holistic approaches to peace making he has worked extensively with families, schools, young gang members, men in prison and high profile athletes.  He has consulted with organizations like the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to address harassment and abuse issues in sport.

Pip’s experience in Juvenile Justice Systems encouraged him to apply these alternate dispute resolution methods in the workplace, schools and communities. His work in “Sustainable Masculinty” is ongoing and has received favorable publicity on ABC radio stations across Australia and in Oregon, USA.

A trained yoga and meditation teacher, Pip utilizes yoga for corporate stress solutions
helping participants achieve inner contentment while being highly productive.
Pip is a certified whitewater raft guide with three decades of outdoor education experience and combines yoga and peace making with whitewater wilderness trips.

In 2006, as a member of the Australian delegation he attended the International
Summit in Canada, to establish Departments and Ministries of Peace in Countries Worldwide.

In Feb, 2007, Pip attended the USA national campaign conference and met with senators and congressmen on Capitol Hill to promote the Department of Peace Bill (HR 808).  (In this capacity he has been privileged to study under some of the world’s leading peace scholars and mediators.
